1. Definitions
- "Sejahtera Hub", "we", "us", "our" โ the financial education company operating under this name at 53 Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
- "User", "you", "your" โ any individual who accesses our website or enrols in our programmes.
- "Services" โ all financial education programmes, sessions, materials, and consultations offered by Sejahtera Hub.
- "Content" โ all written materials, worksheets, workbooks, session guides, and digital resources provided through our programmes.
- "Agreement" โ these Terms and Conditions as updated from time to time.
- "Website" โ the site at https://{{DOMAIN}} and all associated pages.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, enrolling in a programme, or continuing to use our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
3. About Our Services
Sejahtera Hub offers financial education programmes for adults aged 40 and above. Our current programmes include:
- Couples Financial Alignment Session โ a two-session guided programme for couples (RM 750)
- Unit Trust Literacy Course โ a three-session educational course (RM 1,350)
- Holistic Wealth Planning Programme โ an eight-session comprehensive programme with one year of follow-up check-ins (RM 3,430)
All sessions are conducted in person at our Johor Bahru location unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing. Programme availability is subject to scheduling and capacity.
Important: Our services constitute financial education only โ not regulated financial advice. Nothing in our programmes should be construed as a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product. Participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial planner for personalised advice.
4. Enrolment & Registration
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full or agreed partial payment. We reserve the right to decline enrolment at our discretion. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and notifying us promptly of any changes. For the Couples Financial Alignment Session, both individuals must confirm their participation before the programme commences.
5. Payment Terms
- All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
- Full payment is due prior to the commencement of the programme unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and other methods communicated at the time of enrolment
- Receipts will be issued by email upon payment confirmation
- Prices are subject to change for future enrolments; any confirmed enrolment retains the quoted price
Refund Policy
- Cancellation 14 or more calendar days before commencement: full refund less a RM 50 administrative fee
- Cancellation 7 to 13 days before commencement: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 7 days before commencement: no refund, but you may transfer your place to another person
- If Sejahtera Hub cancels a programme: full refund within 14 business days
6. Rescheduling & Cancellation
You may request to reschedule a session by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance. We will accommodate rescheduling requests where capacity permits. Missed sessions without prior notice may not be rescheduled. Sejahtera Hub reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, alternative dates will be offered.
7. User Responsibilities
When using our website or participating in our programmes, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and complete information in all communications
- Attend sessions punctually and engage respectfully with educators and fellow participants
- Not reproduce, distribute, or share programme materials without written permission
- Not record sessions without the prior written consent of Sejahtera Hub
- Not use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive
- Not attempt to access systems, data, or areas of our website not intended for your use
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our programmes โ including text, worksheets, workbooks, frameworks, graphics, and session materials โ is the intellectual property of Sejahtera Hub or its licensed providers. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any content. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use programme materials for your own private educational purposes only. Commercial use, redistribution, or reproduction for any other purpose is not permitted without our express written consent.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided for educational purposes only. We make no representation that any educational content will be suitable for your specific financial circumstances. Financial outcomes depend on many personal factors outside our control. All programme content is provided in good faith and with reasonable care, but we do not warrant its completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. Our website content may not reflect the most recent regulatory developments; always verify information with relevant authorities before making financial decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sejahtera Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our services or website โ including loss of income, investment losses, or decisions made based on programme content. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific programme to which the claim relates.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sejahtera Hub, its educators, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable law.
12. Termination
Sejahtera Hub reserves the right to withdraw your access to our services or website if you breach these Terms or behave in a manner that disrupts or endangers the experience of other participants or staff. Where services are terminated due to your breach, no refund will be issued. You may discontinue your use of our website at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive any termination.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Johor Bahru as the preferred venue.
Consumers may also seek recourse through the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) for claims within its jurisdiction.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sejahtera Hub with respect to the subject matter herein.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by Sejahtera Hub to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our obligations to a successor entity with notice to you.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to legal@{{DOMAIN}} or to our registered address.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of our website or services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes affecting active enrolments, we will endeavour to notify participants by email.
